About Signs
Signs (or signage) can be made in many ways. They come in all shapes and sizes and can be made out of many different materials. Most signs are made from paper, plastic, metal, vinyl, wood, or a variation of them all. Large indoor/outdoor signs are typically printed using large printers known as large format printers. Smaller ones could be made by standard printers (flyers) or by in craving metal. When working with the sign company be sure to make sure your proof is the way you want it. As the proof is usually a direct copy of what is sent to the printers. Where you plan to put your signs is also very important. Outdoor signs need to be made out of specific material in order to last long. Signs can be done in black and white or color; also signs can be covered in materials like gloss or foils to give them effects. Some signs can be printed on a translucent material that lets a backlight shine through giving it a glow effect.
