A handy man is an all around small problem fixer. It could be a broken hinge, rotted wooden board on the patio or simple a hole in your wall. These are small cheap to fix simple problems. A handy man is great for repair work, touchups, and clean up, as they know the basics of many fields and know their way around a tool box. However a handyman is not always certified as when hiring a licensed appliance specialist, electrician, plumber, or carpenter. So if you hire one, make sure it is for the right reasons. Repair, touchups, and/or cleanups. Before you hire a handyman, check your home for all small repairs the need attending. Some good examples of what to look for are dripping faucet, loose bathroom tiles, or doors that do not close properly etc. Make sure you let the handyman know everything that needs to be done prior to the handyman arriving at your house. That way he will have all the tools necessary to do all the small jobs you need done in one trip.
