About Apartments
The term apartment or flat which is commonly used in Europe can have several meanings. Apartment can be simply a room or it could be a suite of rooms designed as a residence. Most apartments are located in an apartment building that is occupied by several people. Apartments generally contain at least one bathroom; is separated from, and is usually one of, many similar units within a multiple dwelling. Apartment can be owned or rented by tenants. Apartments can be classified into several type such as studio, efficiency, or bachelor style apartment. These apartments tend to be smaller and cheaper in most areas. These apartments usually consist of a large room which is the living, dining, and bedroom combined. Next is the one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, etc apartment in which bedrooms are separate from the rest of the apartment. Laundry facilities may be found in a common area accessible to the tenants in the building, or each apartment may have its own facilities. Different apartments have different rules for utilities such as water, heating and electricity. It may be commonly for all apartments or separate and billed separate to each tenant.
